Welcome to where the city's youth comes to party every weekend, and frequently more days than that. It's a 400 meter street (1300 feet) in Tenjin running north from Showa-dori that caters to students, ex-pats, and Bohemians. The area has been hit hard by Japan's 20+ year recession, but there are still nightclubs, bars, international restaurants, karaoke, ex-pat hangouts, game centers, and yatai (outdoor ramen stalls, which you will immediately notice by the stench of burning pork fat) here.
